Chat 2 Pay

As part of the configuration of this extension, you require the details obtained from Cybersource. Ensure you have configured this first.
Chat 2 Pay allows a merchant to embed a "node and/or extension" into multiple applications enabling the merchant to trigger a payment request to their customers (i.e., the end-user) via those applications.
This payment request is received by the end-user via an SMS or WhatsApp message (see here for an example). The URL embedded in the message allows the customer to open a secure payment page where they can enter a new credit/debit card or utilize a saved credit/debit card that is used by the merchant to process payments via the merchant's payment processor/gateway.
A merchant can trigger a payment request to their end-user via any of the following applications:

    Chat Desk and/or Chat Flow: Merchants can trigger payment requests to their customers via Clickatell’s assisted (Chat Desk) or unassisted chat (Chat Flow) capabilities. With Chat Desk, a merchant can embed a Chat 2 Pay extension so the agent can trigger the payment request directly from their dashboard. With Chat Flow, a flow-builder can drag and drop a Chat 2 Pay node into their flows so that the chatbot automatically triggers the payment request when reaching that step.

    Direct integration into Clickatell’s Chat 2 Pay API: Merchants can integrate any 3rd party application directly into the Chat 2 Pay APIs to trigger payment requests to their customers.

    A 3rd party CRM extension: Merchants can embed a Chat 2 Pay “extension” into their Salesforce CRM/OMS which allows a call center agent to trigger the payment request
Chat 2 Pay currently supports the following systems:
To start using this service, you must complete these steps:

    Activate Chat 2 Pay on your account.
  2. 2.
    Configure your Chat 2 Pay details.
  3. 3.
    Link a channel, product (Chat Flow or Chat Desk), and/or an application via API.
